Essential

Everything in Essential plus roadside cover, with a smaller deposit and lower excess.

Nothing is held and nothing is charged for accidental damage. Only the shared exclusions below ever apply.

You always pay for
- •Fuel - the car comes full and you return it full
- •Tolls on paid roads (AP-7 and others)
- •Traffic fines & parking, plus a 30 EUR admin fee for each fine we process
- •Lost keys and interior or wrong-fuel damage caused by negligence
Cover does not apply if
- •You drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- •You have no valid licence, or an unlisted driver is at the wheel
- •You go off-road or outside the permitted territory
- •Damage is intentional or from gross negligence
Insurance FAQ
Is my card really not blocked?
With Zero Deposit (the default) and Premium, nothing is held on your card - not a cent. Essential holds 500 EUR and Comfort holds 300 EUR, both fully refundable after you return the car with no issues.
What exactly is the excess?
The excess is the most you would pay if you damage the car and it is your fault: 900 EUR on Essential, 700 EUR on Comfort, 500 EUR on Zero Deposit, and 0 EUR on Premium. Glass and tyres are covered with no excess on every package.
What does the deposit hold mean?
On Essential and Comfort we pre-authorise a refundable amount on your card at pickup (500 EUR or 300 EUR). It is not a charge - it is released after return. On Zero Deposit and Premium nothing is held at all.
Can I change my cover?
Yes. You can switch package at any step before payment. Prices are per day and the widget shows your total for the exact dates you choose.
