It is a long-term rental contract (24 to 48 months) on a car from our fleet. You pay one upfront amount, then a fixed monthly rate that includes full insurance, maintenance and 24/7 roadside assistance. 15% of every monthly payment builds credit toward keeping the car for free at the end. At the end of the term you have three options: extend the subscription, return the car (zero extra cost), or keep it. Base buyout is 35% of the original car price, minus credits accumulated — on plans of 36 months or longer, credits typically cover the entire buyout and you keep the car for €0. On 24-month plans, a small final payment may apply (visible in the calculator).
No. The car remains property of WeOneRent SL during the subscription. You have full use of it - drive it daily, travel across Spain, use it like your own. Ownership only transfers if you choose the optional buyout at the end. This protects both sides: you drive worry-free, we keep the asset secure.
Yes. During the first half of the term you can return the car at any time with no extra cost - payments made stay with us as rental for the months you used. In the second half of the term, early return is subject to a fixed termination fee defined in your contract (typically 30% of remaining months). Down payment is non-refundable.
Your monthly payment is split into two clear lines: the rental rate (vehicle use, our margin, depreciation) and the mandatory services fee 85 €/month (full damage cover, third-party liability, roadside assistance 24/7, GPS tracker, scheduled maintenance). No hidden fees. 15% of your monthly rate is credited toward future buyout — visible in the calculator above as "Credits earned". The calculator shows exact monthly cost for your specific plan.
Spanish DNI or NIE for residents (or passport plus international driving permit for non-residents), driving licence with at least 2 years of experience, proof of income (last 3 payslips or annual tax declaration), a bank card in your name, and consent to a credit check through Asnef or Equifax.
Full Cover insurance (damage, theft, third-party liability, passenger insurance), 24/7 roadside assistance across Spain, GPS tracker, and scheduled maintenance (oil, brakes, tires per manufacturer plan). The excess in case of damage is 1,200 € (the amount you pay if you damage the car). Insurance cannot be removed or replaced with your own policy.
The plan includes 1,500 kilometers per month. Beyond that, the overage charge is 0.30 € per extra kilometer, calculated monthly. If you expect to drive significantly more (for example a daily commute of 100+ km) - tell us at signup and we will tailor a plan with an extended kilometer allowance.
We will contact you after the first missed payment to agree on a recovery schedule. If the debt remains unpaid for more than 30 days, the contract is terminated and the car is returned to WeOneRent (a GPS tracker is installed for this purpose). Your down payment and all previous monthly payments are not refunded - they are kept as standard rental for the period already used.
Yes. About 60 days before the end of your subscription we send you renewal options: extend the same car for another 12 to 24 months at a reduced rate (typically -10% from current monthly), or switch to a newer car at standard rate. Of course you can also exercise the buyout option (base 35% of original price, reduced by credits earned — usually a token amount) or simply return the car. We give you flexibility to decide based on your situation at that time.
Every monthly payment you make has two parts: 85% rental and 15% credit toward your future buyout. These credits accumulate silently month after month. At the end of the term, if you decide to keep the car, your buyout payment is calculated as: (35% of original car price) minus (credits earned). Example: 10,000 € car, 36-month plan at 600 €/month — credits earned: 3,240 €, buyout base: 3,500 €, final buyout: 260 €. If you return the car instead, credits expire (they only apply to buyout, not refund). This way, every month you are effectively saving toward ownership while driving the car.
Any car from our fleet with original purchase price between 6,000 and 20,000 €. This covers economy hatchbacks (Peugeot 208, Hyundai i10, Toyota Yaris), compact SUVs (Kia Niro, Hyundai Tucson), hybrids (Toyota Auris Hybrid, Lexus CT 200h), and mid-range crossovers. If you want a specific car not in our current fleet within this price range, tell us the model and we will quote a custom subscription within 48 hours. For premium/luxury cars above 20,000 €, contact us directly — we handle those as separate custom contracts outside the standard subscription calculator.
