Do you really require zero deposit?

Yes — with the Full insurance package (€30/day) we never block any amount on your card. With Maximum (€15/day) the hold is only €300, and Extended (€10/day) holds €450 — still half what most rental companies hold even with their “full cover” upgrade.

Is airport delivery really free?

Yes. We deliver to all major Spanish airports (Alicante ALC, Valencia, Madrid) at no extra cost. No shuttle bus, no waiting at counter — we meet you at the terminal exit and hand over the keys, 24/7, every day of the year.

Can I pay with a debit card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most rental companies require a credit card with available limit for the deposit hold. We accept debit cards on all packages — and with Full insurance there is no hold at all, so any card works without limit.

What documents do I need to rent a car in Spain?

Accepted Answer

Driving licence valid for 1+ year (UK, EU, US, Canada, AU accepted), passport or national ID, and a payment card. Drivers from outside the EU need an International Driving Permit (IDP).

What's included in the rental price?

200 km/day mileage allowance (cumulative across the rental, €0.30/km over), your chosen insurance package, all Spanish taxes (IVA 21%), free airport delivery, and 24/7 support in 4 languages. No fuel surcharges, no admin fees, no surprise charges at pickup.

Is there a mileage limit on the rental?

Yes — each rental includes 200 km per day, calculated cumulatively across the rental period (e.g. a 5-day rental includes 1,000 km in total). If you exceed this allowance, the excess is charged at €0.30 per kilometre at return, fully transparent on your final invoice.

Can I cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, regardless of insurance package. Just message us via WhatsApp or email. After 24h or no-show, the first day is charged. We treat customers as humans, not transaction IDs.

Which insurance is selected by default?

Accepted Answer

Extended (€10/day, €450 deposit hold) is pre-selected — the most popular option with full third-party + glass + tire coverage. You can upgrade to Maximum or Full at any step before payment.

Question 9

What is the minimum age to rent a car?

Accepted Answer

Minimum age is 21 years old, with a valid driver's licence held for at least 12 months. Young driver fee (€5/day) applies only for renters under 25 on Premium category vehicles. Economy and SUV categories have no young driver fees.

Do you provide child seats and booster seats?

Accepted Answer

Yes — EU-certified child seats and boosters are FREE with any rental. We have seats for babies (Group 0, rear-facing), toddlers (Group 1, 9-18kg), and kids up to 12 years (Groups 2 & 3). Multiple seats per car possible. Just request at booking.

Can I deliver the car to my hotel or villa on the Costa Blanca?

Yes — free delivery to hotels, villas and apartments across the entire Costa Blanca: Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja, Calpe, Dénia, Xabia (Javea), Altea, Villajoyosa, Pilar de la Horadada and Elche. No extra fees, flexible delivery hours including early morning and late night.

Can I return the car at a different city?

Accepted Answer

Yes — one-way rentals are available between Costa Blanca cities (Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja, Valencia, Calpe) at no extra fee. For longer distances (Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Seville) the drop-off fee is €50-150 depending on distance. Contact us for an exact quote.

What happens if I get a traffic fine while renting?

If you receive a traffic fine, the Spanish authorities will notify WeOneRent and we forward your details so you can pay directly. An administrative fee of €30 applies for processing. We always recommend respecting speed limits and parking rules — fines from the DGT can be costly.

What if the car breaks down during my rental?

24/7 roadside assistance is included on every booking. Call our WhatsApp +34 607 442 437 — we dispatch tow truck or mobile mechanic immediately. If the car needs repair, we provide a replacement vehicle as fast as possible, anywhere in Spain. Coverage in English, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian.

Are there any hidden fees or surprise charges at pickup?

Accepted Answer

No — the price you see at booking is the price you pay. No fuel surcharges, no airport fees, no admin fees, no counter "upgrades" we didn't agree on. Compare any major chain quote to ours and you'll see the difference: typically 30-50% less total for the same car.

Do your cars have GPS or smartphone holders?

Accepted Answer

All cars come with Bluetooth, USB charging, and most models include built-in GPS navigation. Smartphone holders and additional GPS units available on request (some models include them). Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on Premium and Tesla categories.

What fuel policy do you use?

Accepted Answer

Full-to-full policy: receive the car with a full tank, return it full. Fair, transparent, no hidden fuel charges. If you return less than full, we charge actual fuel needed plus a small €15 refueling service fee. No "full-to-empty" pre-pay tricks.

Can I rent monthly or long-term?

Accepted Answer

Yes — monthly rentals start from €450/month all-inclusive. Includes 200 km/day cumulative (6,000 km/month), maintenance, insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance. Free car swap mid-month if needed. No deposit, debit cards accepted. Perfect for residents, digital nomads and summer visitors.

Question 20

Are pets allowed in the rental car?

Accepted Answer

Yes — pets are welcome on Economy, SUV, and Family categories. We just ask you to keep the seats clean (using a blanket or pet seat cover). On return, if extra cleaning is needed for pet hair, a small cleaning fee (€20-30) may apply. Premium and Tesla categories — please check with us first.
